samuel Jones (Managing Director)
Samuel brings crucial aviation experience to the team. For 16 years, as founder and Managing Director of Mercatus Aerospace, he has been responsible for the evaluation, acquisition and sale of aviation assets such as aircraft, jet engines and other aircraft components. His work has also included building and maintaining relationships with international aircraft lessors, and developing and managing risk management and compliance systems in the highly regulated aviation industry. Samuel is a current member of the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading.
Bob Henricks (Non-Executive Chairperson)
Bob’s career in Superannuation and Funds Management is unparalleled. For 20 years he was the Chairman of the $6 billion super fund, Energy Super. He has also been the chairman of SPEC(Q) Superannuation Fund, Aust(Q) Superannuation Fund and a director of Cbus Super. In 2015 he was named Trustee of the Year by the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees. As well as his work at Castellan Asset Management, he is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Coolabah Capital.
John Jones (Non-Executive Director)
John has been involved in industry superannuation funds since the 1980’s, accumulating over 30 year’s experience as a founding director and Fund Secretary of Aust(Q) Superannuation Fund and member of Australian Super’s Queensland Advisory Committee. As well as his current work at Castellan Asset Management, he is also Chairman of the Group Governance, Risk, Audit and Compliance Committee for Apex Superannuation (Australia)
